Okay So we tried this out today 5 man. I'm going to post my findings here on it. You guys add if you find more please.

Set up was Whm/Rdm Mnk/War X 2, Sam/War, Run/Whm

Buffs carry over just like other skirmish

Similacrium used was 1/1/1

30 minute time limit

Goal 1 was to gather 30 fragments.

Killing mobs yielded these, sort of like obsidian fragments.

Mobs encountered were skeletons(fairly weak if everyone could focus on them), Maroliths(omg these are rough), and Narakas.

Maroliths seem to drop when you weapon skill them, and have really really high hp. Once they drop, they stay down for a moment, but then get back up, head to person with most hate, and immediately do an aoe tp move that can remove your gear and put encumberment on you. You can run out of range of this pretty easily.

Naraka wasn't too bad, typical fight for him. Went smoothly.

Skeletons blood agro from way far away and can respawn in the rooms, so best o pull Maroliths out of the main rooms to fight them.

We are suggesting the dd's /dnc in the future however because these things bind you and other enfeebles and one person cannot keep all the debuffs off you. Definitely need some sort of other refresher/backup healer in this. One whm cannot do this alone.

Suggesting typical strategy of

dd/dnc X 4, brd/? , whm/rdm

2nd run went better, but ran out of time

Blu, mnk, run, whm, brd, cor

Marolith gives 7 points
Naraka gives 5
Regular mobs give 1
Didn't get the Yztarg dead, so not sure on him

Trying a third run with 2mnk, no cor

Ironclads are bad bad ju ju

The Marolith appears to be based off of Silagilith from Meeble Burrows, except instead of collapsing at set HP percentages, it seems to instead be triggered by something relating to Weapon Skills (perhaps a damage spike of a certain value or higher, or maybe a crit. hit WS). While not every WS triggered the collapse, it may be best to avoid using them entirely for now. Marolith did not collapse once on the attempt where we intentionally avoided using WS against it. Definitely has access to Subduction, Enervating Grasp, and Tectonic Shift, although unsure if Tectonic Shift granted it an Enlight effect or not. Edit: Might also be worth noting that the Marolith did not appear to show up on Wide Scan while it was in its passive form.

Based on this page, The Naraka looks to have access to Raksha: Judgment and Raksha: Illusion, possibly others. The bind+amnesia effect from Raksha: Judgment wasn't a huge issue so long as hate remained on one of the DDs afterwards. Any magic users should have Echo Drops ready for this move as well. I came prepared with Holy Water for the curse effect from Raksha: Illusion, but the paralysis made it very difficult to actually use the item. In situations where DDs are prepared with Holy Water, it might be best to focus on removing the paralysis effect first.

While we didn't have much time to fight the Yztarg, it's possible that it might also be based upon another Meeble Burrows NM, Umagrhk. Definitely used Soulshattering Roar, and appeared to have the defensive aura afterwards. Unsure if it can be dispelled in the same manner, as we ran out of time at this point.

The Ironclad used the typical abilities, probably best for DDs to keep their back to a wall for this one. Normal attacks stun the target. Had moves that were able to inflict HP down (appeared to have this effect x3 on me at once, making it difficult to remove), all stats down, and encumbrance.

Did two skirmish runs yesterday, met the first objective on our 1/1/1 simulacrum KI. As far as I know, nobody got the skirmish weapon/armor upgrade KI. On the following t4 body run we were a little under 20 fragments short of meeting objective #1. I believe our setup was mnk/dnc x2, war/sam, whm/rdm, brd, rdm… Forgive me if my memory falters in a few places, seeing as I'm posting this a day after the fact lol.

Anyway, turns out we were right about the Impervious Marolith NM. Don't WS on it and you should be fine.

The Cantankerous Yztarg is not to be underestimated. We lost about 20 minutes here (basically wiped twice to it), and after recovering decided to move on to see what we could learn about the other NMs. As I mentioned before, the Yztarg will likely gain a defensive aura during the fight. This can be dispelled by performing a WS from directly behind the NM, triggering a red "!!" proc. If the aura is not dispelled, the Yztarg will use a TP move called Beastruction which hits everyone within a very wide range, taking them down to 1 HP and encumbering them. Once it uses this move it's extremely difficult if not impossible to recover. This makes removing the defensive aura imperative. Hate bounced around a bit for us, which was part of the issue. For this NM it's probably a good idea to have one person with provoke, etc. tank it while another stands behind and holds TP for the purpose of removing the aura once it goes up. If you lack a reliable way to hold hate, I suppose having two people on opposite sides of it might also work if they both held TP.

Another NM we encountered was the Acrimonious Dullahan. It appears to be a PLD type mob (shield block, etc.) and it used Invincible at one point during the fight. Formless Strikes bypassed this, as per usual. One person on bg's forums said that keeping enfeebles on this NM seems to make it easier to handle.

The Tweeting Caeferli is a Chapuli NM. It became extremely evasive at several points during the battle, and was very hard to hit even with Accuracy food, Focus, Madrigal, etc. I'm not entirely sure what triggered this. I believe Pssy said he read somewhere that a SCH recommended using Stone against this? Not entirely sure if this was for magic damage, earth damage, elemental damage = day, etc.

The Snorting Skormoth (fire behemoth) gained a Blaze Spikes effect at various points during the battle. These were easily dispelled and didn't seem terribly potent to me (~14 damage per hit I think? Barspells and whatnot were likely helping with this). The most dangerous move it used was probably Ecliptic Meteor, which (aside from the damage) inflicts Paralysis + Bio + Blind. Looking at a screenshot I took (wanted to remember the ailments on me), I was also inflicted with Amnesia and Addle at the time. Not entirely sure if these last two ailments came from Ecliptic Meteor or another move.
